Pixie Lott stars in BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket

Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the classic tale of Holly Golightly written by Truman Capote and so memorably portrayed by Audrey Hepburn in the iconic 1961 film, is being given a new lease of life as a stage play with music in a sparkling, sophisticated production starring the multi award-winning Pixie Lott as Holly.

Adapted by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony and Olivier Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg and directed by Nikolai Foster, this tale of vivacious, good-time girl Holly Golightly and her fantastical existence in 1940s New York City, is told through the eyes of a young writer, completely fascinated by this exquisite extrovert who every woman wants to be, and every man wants to be with.

With memorable songs from the era, this stylish production is set to capture the hearts of audiences and sparkle like a diamond in a Tiffany’s window.

Based on the novel by Truman Capote

Adaptor: Richard Greenberg

Director: Nikolai Foster

Designer: Matthew Wright

Music: Grant Olding

Very good show, my mum loved it and the cat!

Joanna Witton

If I were able to give less than one star I would. It was a very boring show, in fact the whole audience looked incredibly bored. I have also had many other girlfriends that also went to the same show and also had the same experience. Unfortunately, very bad comments

JOSEPHINE MCCHRYSTAL

The cast struggled to make something good out of a lack lustre storyline.

Linda Evans-Hendrick

It was OK, it didnt grab me, Although Pixie Lott was very good, it was the wrong role for her.

Jonathan Palmer

Pixie was credible but the storyline was very weak and to be honest very predictable. I wish I'd gone to see mamma Mia

Sandra Braggins

Boring first half. Disjointed and best character was the barman, followed by the cat! Very disappointed.

Michael Willetts

Disappointed compared to the original film.Pixie could have acted a lot better

I saw this last night, Thursday. I loved this production. Don't go expecting to see the film on stage, this is truer to the book. It also isn't a Pixie Lott concert, although she does sing. Pixie is a surprise as Holly. She plays the part of the, apparently, bold, confident Holly to perfection. The whole cast are excellent in their roles. Matt Barber is perfect opposite Pixie. Fred starts a little naive and lost, he then goes on to show his strengths in his dealings with Holly. Finally, how did they get a cat to behave so perfectly? No hanging on to a fur ball with claws to keep him on stage, he was just so relaxed, almost stealing the attention, as most stage animals do. Go see for a true, and enjoyable, rendition of Breakfast At Tiffany's. Peter Chappell, written:09/09/2016.

It was more of a play than musical. Pixie Lott only sang 4 songs. I also didn't quite get the plot. It wasn't easy to follow. There is so many others to see I'd give it a miss. But perhaps that's why it's ending so soon.

Really enjoyed thus experience! First matinee been to would do It again.

Jacqueline Fleming-Davage

Excellent production. It just would have been that bit better with a live band. Live music always adds to the excitement of a show. Musicians need work too.

Fantastic show. 'Fred' was excellent. I've seen the film more recently than reading the book so am used to seeing a female Lead, but Fred was very much the lead here and stole the show....ooooh, not quite, forgot the cat!
